  17. I have been looking at Python and Tcl to possibly embed in a hypertext 
  18. engine that I am revamping. I have been using a Modula 2 like language 
  19. that I developed back in 1987. But, it is a bit too low-level, and I 
  20. would like to use a more advanced language this time around.

  22. I had read articles about Icon years ago, but had forgotten about it 
  23. until someone mentioned it recently. I like the language, but I don't 
  24. see any notes on extending it to use my APIs nor any information about 
  25. embedding it within my application. Also, I don't see any license 
  26. statement as to whether I could use it.
